CEO & Founder
I am Coach Johnson, the founder of Mo’s Allstars. My inspiration stems from my own story. Growing up as a youth in Brooklyn, New York, I wasn’t afforded the same opportunities as others. As a young Black girl, I sat in class next to students with more advantages but was still expected to perform at the same level. The odds were stacked against me, but I refused to let them define my future. I found solace and strength in sports, where hard work and determination could level the playing field. My passion for basketball grew, becoming both my outlet and my drive. It taught me discipline, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that transcended the court and shaped every aspect of my life.
Years later, I decided to give back to my community by establishing Mo’s Allstars. My goal was to create a safe haven for young athletes, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, where they could develop not only their athletic skills but also their character and self-worth. We focus on fostering a supportive environment that champions inclusivity, diversity, and personal growth.
At Mo’s Allstars, we believe that every child deserves a fair shot at success, regardless of their circumstances. We offer mentorship, academic support, and life skills training alongside rigorous athletic coaching. Our program is designed to nurture the whole individual, preparing them for future challenges both on and off the court.
Seeing the transformation in our young athletes is incredibly rewarding. They enter our program with dreams and leave with the confidence and tools to turn those dreams into reality. It’s not just about winning games—it’s about building leaders, fostering community, and creating a legacy of empowerment.
Through Mo’s Allstars, I aim to pay forward the opportunities I fought so hard to find. I am committed to breaking down barriers and ensuring that no child feels overlooked or underestimated. Together, we are shaping a brighter future, one young star at a time.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I am one of eight siblings, brought up by my dedicated single mother, Doreen Watt. My basketball journey began at the age of five, sparking a lifelong passion for the game. I honed my skills while attending PS 92 and North Star Academy, and later at Abraham Lincoln High School. Continuing my academic and athletic journey, I attended Monroe Community College (MCC) before earning my degree in Criminal Justice from Towson University.
Currently, I work as a Guest Experience Ambassador at Summit One Vanderbilt, the premier observatory in New York City. Additionally, I serve as the content creator for Mo's Allstars, a role that allows me to blend my love for basketball with my creative talents. My responsibilities include developing engaging content, managing social media, and showcasing the essence of Mo's Allstars through storytelling and visual media.
